What is concierge medicine?

Since it was established in 2016, Novara has relied on a model that allows you to get the high-quality care you deserve.

Some call it concierge medicine, direct primary care, or subscription-based medicine. But to us, the label isn’t important. To us, the focus is always on your health and your goals. We’re working to rethink the way routine healthcare works, moving from a passive approach to an active one.

Concierge medicine is simple. For a monthly fee, you get unlimited access to the care you need, when and where you need it.

You get more time with your doctor, so you can build a personal partnership that leads to better health outcomes.

In this approach, the focus is on actively pursuing wellness and working on preventing health problems before they arise. Over time, healthcare costs and the need for treatment go down, and your quality of life goes up.

Meet Dr. Hager

Christopher Hager, M.D.

Since the moment I decided to become a physician, I set out to provide care for people in a way that made a real difference in their lives.

“Now, I’m right where I want to be—guiding clients, holding them accountable to their own goals, making authentic connections with them as people, and pushing the limits of what is possible in the art of medicine today.”

A graduate of Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and the Lancaster General Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program, Dr. Hager is board certified in Family Medicine and has practiced in Lancaster County since 2006. He appreciates leadership and innovation and earned his MBA from the UMass Isenberg School of Management after completing an executive certificate program at The Wharton School. Kimberly believes strong patient relationships are built on deep listening. After earning her BSN from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, her heart for patient-centered care led her to diverse environments—including a NICU, hematology oncology unit, and low-income health clinic. After several medical missions trips to Haiti, she felt driven to pursue family care (especially women’s health), earning her FNP in 2017. Outside the office, she loves getting outdoors with her pup, spending time with her grandkids, and reading in front of her woodstove.

Her career centers around primary care, and has included roles as a nurse supervisor at Lancaster General Health, a home health nurse, and a certified health coach, helping patients set goals to improve their well-being.
